House. C16 with C18 and C19 extensions and alterations. Rendered and colour-washed timber-frame and brick with slate roofs, part hipped, and gault brick central ridge and end stacks. Present main range facing right to garden with rear wings, but original main range faced street with cross wing on right, the present main range. This was given a further wing to rear then the whole was encapsulated and given a C19 roof overall. EXTERIOR. 2 storeys. Front to street a 4-window range of casements and 313 sash over 2-light wooden mullion and transom windows. Entrance to centre right with moulded hood on brackets and part-glazed double doors. Garden front a 5-window range of mid/late C18 6/6 unhorned sashes over 5 similar sashes with cambered heads. Part-glazed door with overlight to far left. Rear has 4 late C19 6/2 sashes over casements and French window. INTERIOR. Curving stick-baluster staircase. One room on garden front has full-height C18 panelling with 2- and 6-panel doors: Evidence of timber-framing including jowled post and coupled rafter roofs to main range and cross wing which have been built over by that of the C19.
