The following buildings shall be added:-

Pair of attached houses. Late medieval cruck frame altered and extended C17; C18,
C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Cruck frame and timber frame, with clay lump
infill, the infill mostly replaced; No 2 with painted pebble dash render, No 4 with
painted brick. Concrete interlocking tile roofs. Rebuilt brick stacks. 2 storeys;
No 4, on left, of 2 bays, No 2 of 3 wide bays. No 2: C20 small-pane wooden
casements. Central 3-panel door flanked by bow windows all under wooden canopy.
3-light windows to outer bays; 2-light first floor windows to 2 left bays. 2 ridge
stacks. Added rear outshut, probably C18, has stable door and casements. No 4: C20
part-glazed door on left of 3-light small-pane window with similar 2-light window
over, that on ground floor with segmented brick arch. Ridge stack on left. Large
C20 rear addition. Interior: party wall between Nos 2 and 4 has cruck truss with
massive blades. Other sections of later timber framing visible, particular at left
end of No 4 which has jowelled wall post, tie-beam, collar, principal rafter, front
mid rail and wall-plate. No 2 has, in left room, chamfered spine-beam with bar and
cyma stop and chamfered joists. In right room chamfered beam and joists. Central
room also has chamfered beam. No 4 was formerly a pub, named "The Sign of the
Plough".
