Pair of estate cottages. Circa 1850-55 for the Earl of Ducie's estate.
Rubble; slate roof with overhanging bracketted eaves; brick stacks. Single
storey and attics in 4 gabled dormers. 4 bays: 2- and 3-light casement windows
with chamfered mullions and under drip stones; 1-2-1 light bay window to right.
Central gabled projecting porch; further porch on south gable. The cottages
form an important group with the church, green and estate yard (q.v.).
