Two cottages, formerly a row of seven. Dated 1738, altered.
Rubblestone, thatched roof. 3 stone chimneys. One storey and attic,
6 2-light casement upper windows rising into thatch, 4 on right are Digby
Cottage, 2 on left part of Heron Cottage. Altered windows to ground
floor, garage door on left. Remainder of Heron Cottage re-roofed in
pantiles and altered, not of special interest. The sixteen cottages
built by George Wright after he emparked the Gayhurst estate 1738-39. 1738-9.
