20 yards east of
Hill Green Farmhouse

GV II

Cart-shed. C18 with C19 or early C20 Clock tower. Timber-framed
with vertical weather-boarding and thatched roof. Gable end to
road. One storey on brick plinth. Roof hipped both ends. Large
square clock tower to centre of roof, on brick base, with clock
to each face above, flanked by 2 small Doric pilasters either side.
2-tier leaded roof with weathervane sporting a running fox. Garage
doors to street gable end. Clock tower reputed to have come from
Foley Park, Maidstone. Listed for group value.
