3 cottages, now 2. C16, and C18 altered C20 with extensions. Part timber
framed with brick infill and thatched roof, part chequer brick with old
tile roof. Irregular plan. 2-storeys. One C17 flanking chimney on left,
and one small chimney on the ridge. Road front:- 2 framed bays to left with
one remaining brace on first floor, 2 bays of 3-light C20 leaded casement windows
on both floors, C20 entrance door between on ground floor; middle section is
C18, 2 bays, 2-light leaded casements on first floor flanking blocked centre
window; C19 central entrance door flanked by 4-light wooden mullioned and
transomed windows with leaded casements under segmental brick arches. The
adjoining cottage on the right has been rebuilt and is not of special
interest. Interior:-timber framed part has most of the frame exposed
with windbraces, carefully restored.
