Oakers Wood House,
Moreton

Isolated former farmhouse. Late C18-early C19, enlarged later in C19. Brick walls,
thatched roof. Brick stacks. Two storeys. Original building, of two rooms with
central stair and rear kitchen wing - this last originally single-storeyed later
raised to two storeys. Large extension at front in C19 - similar in style to
original building but larger in scale. Some double-hung sash windows, some
casements.
Note. Consent has been granted for the demolition of the late front section. The
surviving building may be listable.
Detached outbuildings, west of house, of brick, mostly with corrugated iron roofs.
These not listable.
