Burn Hall.

GV II

Water pump. Early C19. Cast iron pump encased in coursed squared
sandstone column with ashlar dressings. On bank of River Wear. Column
about 4 metres high has blocked square opening on side towards river at
base; chamfered set-backs. Some patching in snecked stone on side towards
path, and some courses missing at top on that side.
