Town Hall and house. 1790 enlarged 1887. Slate ground floor, roughcast first floor and hipped slate roofs. Two storeys, seven bays, the first two bays recessed and lower, the last second bays break back. Ground floor has elliptical-headed arches with impost bands, originally open, flat band over. Arches now infilled, with small-paned glazing, Y-tracery window to first bay, entrance to third bay. First floor has sashed windows with glazing bars, those to second to seventh bays are round-headed in round-headed recesses. Two datestones recording building and extension. Left return has two round-headed windows and entrance; first floor Venetian window, sashed with glazing bars, most lights blocked. Right return has lean-to extension and small porch. Two ventilators to roof ridge. Rear is set into hill. Central three bays form original building. First two bays form house.
