An early C19 red brick building, now painted. 1 storey. 5 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals. Each window is set in a slightly recessed elliptical arched brick recess. The arch above the centre window bears the inscription "Bishop Cauden's Hall endowed 1678, rebuilt 1811, restored 1910". (Bishop Cauden was the author of the book "Eiken Basilike" which he gave out to be the account written by Charles Stuart of his suffering .It was a forgery which ran through 50 or more editions. )
