A Cl7 timber-framed and plastered house, possibly earlier, with a C18 front.
2 storeys, attics and cellar. 2 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing
bars, in flush cased frames. A 6-panel door with the upper panels glazed has
a wood doorcase with a moulded architrave and cornice. Roof tiled, with 1 flat
headed dormer with old leaded casements.

All the listed buildings from No 19 to No 41 on the west side and
No 4 to No 20 on the east side form a group with Bawn Cottage, Bawn Close.
