Circa 1560. Red brick, old tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics, basement, 2
weatherboarded gables oversailing. Early C17 chimneystack with diagonally set
shafts, 3 ground floor sash windows, 4 double light 1st floor casement windows,
wood mullions and transoms. Door and oblong fanlight in surround.
Interior: exposed timber frame, central chimney bressummer, hiding place on left.
Granted by Henry VIII to Sir Antony Denny with land round about. Regranted by
Queen Elizabeth to Richard Hill and William Hames. From 1664 to 1747 owned by
