L plan house of Cl7/Cl8 origin the rear wing retaining older work but the front
block rebuilt or recased circa 1850 in buff brick. 2 storeys with plinth and
brick flat band. Gable end tiled roof with flat eaves. The gable ends have
panelled chimney stacks and header dentils to verges and carried across at eaves
level. 3 window east front, the centre window probably blind but concealed by
ivy. Recessed glazing bar sashes, flat gauged brick arches. Door of 6 flush panels,
rectangular fanlight with diamond glazing pattern in panelled reveal. Engaged
Doric column doorcase with flat cornice hood. The earlier rear wing is roughcast,
probably timber framed, 3 light wood casements. Door of 6 flush panels with cornice
hood. Some ceiling beams exposed but otherwise structure concealed.
