1931-2. By Sir Edwin Lutyens. Red brick with some purple brick. Three
storeys, attics and basement. Long frontage, gabled at either end, continuous
bands at first floor and cornice levels. Five doorways with pedimented
Gibbs surrounds. Two-light casement windows. Attic dormers. Tiled roof
with five tall stacks. The five oak staircases all have balusters of a
different design.
