Entrance archway to No 70 has with a good early C19 Gothic door. In the yard behind, No 70 (The Flying Stag), a former public house, 1842, brick, incorporating a timber framed C17 cell and C18 fragments. 3 storey and 2 storey and attic ranges, sashes with glazing bars. Tiled roof on early lower build.

Nos 71 and 71A: C18 timber-framed, plastered and painted. 3 storeys, 2 windows, sashes with glazing bars. Modern shop front. Panelled door. Paired dentil eaves cornice. Old tile roof.

No 72 as No 71. But the doorway has-been converted to a window.

Listed as a good contiguous group of C18 and early-C19 buildings along Bridge Street, with the building to rear also having C17 fabric.
