House formerly two dwellinys. C16 with early C19 alterations and additions.
Timber-framed and plastered with pantile roof and red brick ridge stack to
right of centre and rear stack to left hand. Original building possibly with
three unit plan raised to two storeys and converted to two dwellings in early
C19, incorporating a remnant clunch wall possibly part of a C16 stair in
cellar. Front elevation; two early C19 panelled doors with rectangular
fanlights. Four flush-framed twelve-paned hung sash windows and four similar
first floor windows replacing similar original windows. Interior: Exposed
timber-frame and floor frames. Red brick hearth. Wall painting, early C17,
of floral design in room to west.
