Row of four cottages, now two. C18. Renovated and extended at rear. Timber
framed, rendered and long straw thatch with two ridge stacks. Single range.
One storey and attic. Three eyebrow dormers, each with C19 iron casement.
At ground floor, Covens Wood has a porch in a painted lean-to extension and
one late C20 hung sash. Lane Cottage retains two C19 iron frame casements
and a boarded door. Interior: slender framing with straight bracing. Small
back-to-back hearths of red brick.
