Late C18/early C19. Gault brick on stone plinth, stone parapet. 3 storeys, 3
bays divided by plain brick pilasters, further bay to right with elliptical
carriage arch. Sashes with glazing bars except casements top left and centre.
Centre paired doors with fanlights. Parapet, roof not visible. No 155 sometime
part of County Gaol, retains condemned cell with 2 barred windows in cellar which
faces Orchard Street.
