Formerly Duke's Arms public house and C18 Malthouse. C18 front.
2 storeys painted brick, modern tile roof. Carriageway with
rusticated segmental arch on left, modern shop front on right, with
3 windows, hung sashes, glazing bars. Old rectangular chimney stack
with rebuilt top. Ground floor room with original panelling and
cornices, fireplace and chamfered beams. RCHM.

No, 1, 7 to 13 (odd), Nos. 17 and Nos. 21 to 39 (odd) form a group
with the shop adjoining No. 1.
