ST 76 SW ENGLISHCOMBE HAYCOMBE LANE (south side)

Inglescombe House

Farmhouse, now subdivided. Dated 1766 and 1773. Coursed rubble with freestone
dressings; slate roof with coped raised verges and ashlar stacks. 3 storeys.
Five 3-light casement windows in ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds; plain bands
over each floor. Between the second floor windows are shield panels, 2 with the
dates. C20 glazed door off-centre to left. At the far left is a projecting late
C19 gabled wing with a 2-storey canted bay window.
