3/22 Gateposts and flanking walls about
100 metres south east of The Grange

G.V. II

Gatepiers and flanking walls. c.1825. Ashlar rubble. Pair of square piers
with full length moulded panels, larger cap with Greek key frieze and double
barrel vaulted form, surmounted by ball finial. To each side a wall about 1.5
metres high and 3 metres long sweeps down, each curves in plan one towards and
one away from house.
