Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, mid C18, extended to left late C18. Brown brick Flemish
bond to front, graded grey slate roof with flush chimneys at gables.
Moulded stone string (at 2nd floor) and cornice. Modern gabled porch,
in keeping. Two storeys plus attic which is blank to front; 3
windows. Three-light small-pane sashes right of porch with sash boxes
almost flush; four-pane sash above porch - rusticated flat-arch stone
heads to those windows. More recent 3-light casements, slightly
recessed, left of porch. The older part of the house has rusticated
quoins. Fluted pilasters and doorcase of fielded panels within the
porch.
Interior. Staircase, probably late Georgian, rising in one flight per
storey, with plain square balusters. Doors have five or six panels,
some fielded.
