3/97 Four Lane Ends Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid C18. Red Flemish bond brick with slate roof. Two
storeys and attic. Entrance front: chamfered stone quoins to corners.
Three bays symmetrically disposed. Central doorway to ground floor
with C19 gabled wooden porch before and ½ glazed C19 door. To either
side are window openings with stone sills and wedge lintels cut in
simulation of chamfered rustication with keystones. Three similar
windows to the first floor all now containing C19 or C20 2-light
casements. Gable ends hve stone kneelers and coping and cambered
headed window openings.
