Pair of cottages, c,180b. Coursed rubble, stone slate roof. Two storeys. Forge
Cottage, to left, has a doorway with plain stone surround and stone hood. 5-panel
door, top panel glazed. To left a 6-pane sash in a plain stone surround to each
floor; to right a 3-light recessed square mullion window, the lower probably a
recent enlargement. Brown Croft has an unmoulded doorway to right with a small
light over and a 3-light recessed square mullion window to each floor. 3 stacks in
all.
