House in row, with shop. Early C19. Painted brickwork, slate
roof.
3 storeys and attic, 1 window; a large C20 dormer above
2-storey oriel bow with 6:9:6 above 8:12:8-pane sashes. Ground
floor has a late C10 shop front in single large panes,
returned to a pair of glazed doors under a shallow transom
light, and a simple fascia. A plat band above the first-floor
window, but not carried across the whole front, and a simple
cornice with paired brick dentils, blocking course and
parapet; the brick stack is to the right.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
This is a wider and slighter grander version of the adjacent
Nos 2 & 3 (qv).
