Pair of houses in row, with shops. Early C19. Painted
brickwork, slate roofs. 3 storeys; each has at second floor
two 12-pane sashes in reveals, to stone sills, above a single
8:12:8-pane sash bow oriel with dentil cornice. The C19 shop
front embraces both properties, with a deep fascia, and with
curved quadrant glass returning to deep-set glazed doors. A
simple coped parapet, and central and end stacks.
INTERIOR is single-depth plan, with mainly late C19 fittings,
but an original winder stair remains in No.58 from first to
second floors.
