Courtyard archway with semi-circular head, moulded imposts, rusticated voussoirs and
keystone initialed M and dated 1669. This entrance stands in a small recess with
stone seats. Over the archway and in the angles of the recess are ball finials on
moulded bases. The flanking dry stone walling has a moulded capping. Graded for
importance as formal entrance to the Hall.
