Former public house. Mid C18 with early C19 additions. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof with coped gables with kneelers. Two storey C18 front raised to three storeys in the C19. Quoined angles. Ground floor has C19 three-light mullioned window, door jamb part of two-light mullioned window. First floor has two three-light flat faced mullioned windows with very thin stones and centrally placed large rectangular opening now window but probably former taking-in door. Second floor has two large two-light mullioned windows and one other. Moulded gutter brackets; internal stacks to both gables. Right hand return wall has a two and half storey outshut of late C18 coped with kneelers. Rear has long mullioned window at first floor all lights solid.
