Part of terrace with underdwellings. Early to mid C19 with mid C19 frontage. Hammer
dressed stone. Stone slate roof with moulded stone brackets to gutter. Large central
stone stack. Two and four storeys. C20 shop frontage to left with 2 single sashes to
first floor. House to right comprises 2 doorways to right and single sash to left,
and 2 single sashes to first floor. Rear elevation is symmetrical and handed. Each
dwelling consisting of near central doorway with one 3-light window to one side and
single light to other. To first floor each has one 9-light window: that to left with
each end light blocked, and that to right with 3 centre lights blocked. To second
floor each has one 3-light and one single light. One 9-light stone mullioned window
to each at third floor level (some blocked lights). Third and first floors have
continuous sill bands.
