Handed pair, end of row. 1751 (datestone). Hammer dressed stone. Rusticated quoins.
Ashlar dressings. Stone slate roof. (No 1 turned, No 2 bitumen covered). Gable
copings turn onto moulded kneelers. Moulded stone brackets. Two storeys. South-east
elevation: String course between floors. Two central doorways with moulded ashlar
surrounds pulvinated frieze and cornice (one repaired with mortar). Over doors is
initials and date B.W.S. 1751. To first floor above doors is pair of single light
windows with moulded ashlar surrounds and raised sills. To each side (both floors) is
bay of 4-light stone mullioned window with recessed mullions. 25 Church Street under
same roof is of no architectural interest.
