Pair of cottages. Probably mid to later C18, altered. Coursed squared
sandstone with quoins, stone slate roof. Rectangular double-depth plan. Two
storeys, each cottage one bay; doorways with plain surrounds, each near the
outer corners, and between these two 3-light windows on each floor, all with
flat-faced flush-mullions; but that at 1st floor of No.2 formerly of 4
lights, the 4th light blocked. Chimney in centre of ridge. (Barn continues
to left of No.3; q.v.).
