Farmhouse, mid/late C18, and slightly later farm cottage adjoining at left
with early C19 rear extension. Now one house. Brick, now pebbledashed.
Clay pantile roof, with renewed plain clay tile gable copings and stone
ridge copings on cottage. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Central Victorian 6-panel
door. Renewed sash windows in original openings. Late C19 sash window
inserted right of door. Rendered end stacks. One-storey cottage with loft,
entered from left return. Renewed sash windows. Mid C20 brick battered
buttress at left end. Rendered ridge stack. Boarded loft door in return.
One-storey continuous outshut under catslide roof at rear of cottage.
INTERIOR: Farmhouse has early C19 dogleg staircase with moulded handrail,
stick balusters and plain newel, now concealed by panelling. Cottage has
altered inglenook fireplace with heck partition. Mid C20 brick and concrete
front porch, and brick and glazed timber porch adjoining return of cottage,
are not of special interest.
