House, now divided into 2. Initials and date RP over door but probably C16
1719
with later alterations and extension to West. Roughcast render, graduated
greenslate roof with stone ridge; 2 large square protruding chimney stacks on
house and smaller chimney on extension. House: 2 storeys. 3 windows: 3-light
windows to upper floor, 4-light to ground floor, all with chamfered mullions and
surrounds and iron casements under hood moulds with end stops. Off-centre door
in moulded stone surround with 4-centred arch under hood mould with label linked
to hood mould of window to right. Small window in chamfered stone surround to
left of door. Rear has 3 3-light windows similar to those at front and 2 C20
casements. Extension 2 storeys; 3 windows and porch all C20. Interior has
chamfered beams with end stops; repositioned C17 panelling; C19 staircase.
