Pair of cottages, formerly the farmhouse. C17 with later reworkings.
Formerly had date plaque: 'G.T. 1791" (Godfrey Thornton). Colourwashed
roughcast over timber framing and brick. C20 tile roof, half-tipped to W. 3-
room plan, 2 storeys and attics. 3 3-light casements each to ground and first
floors, 3 hipped dormers to attic. 2 doors, LH one of 6 panels with flat hood
on cut brackets, RH one part glazed within C20 glazed porch. Out-shot to rear
elevation. One storey outbuilding and barn adjoin to E gable end, former with
clay tile roof and roughcast render, latter with weatherboarding and pantile
roof.
