Aqueduct carrying canal over River Wheelock

Aqueduct, 1829, blue brick. Wide semi-circular arch has 3 rings of
brick voussoirs; curved parapets end in circular stone piers; raked
retaining walls to river banks; stone copings.
A solidly handsome structure, simply expressed.
