Barns, now two houses. Mid-C18. Coursed squared gritstone and
red brick. Plain tile roofs. Stone coped gable to east. South
elevation: Brick barn to right has central doorway with stone
lintel and C20 door. One C20 window to the right and two to the
left, and one above. The stone barn to the left has two windows
to the first floor. The north elevation of the brick barn has,
from right to left, a segment headed doorway, a doorway with
stone lintel, a doorway with segment head, three more irregular
openings and a segment headed doorway. Four windows above. The
north elevation of the stone barn has a central doorway with
massive stone lintel and moulded jambs. Stable type doors. To
the left are three irregular windows, and there are two more to
the right. The first floor has three windows, that on the right
set in the former loft doorway. All the openings have C20 doors
or windows. West gable end entirely rebuilt in C20. Listed for
group value only.
