Cottage above stables, the cellar is now a shop. Circa early C19. Painted stone
rubble. Asbestos slate roof with gable ends and higher wing to rear. 2-room plan
cottage on first floor with external stairs to right-hand doorway. Stables
originally on ground floor.
2 storeys, asymmetrical 3-storey 2-window front. Ground floor with C20 glazed porch
on left with rendered base, and slate lean-to roof. Right-hand doorway to store
under flight of stone rubble external stairs with landing at top projecting on 3
timber corbels, supporting C20 glazed porch with brick base. To left, two C19 4-pane
sashes beneath brick segmental arches. Second floor smaller C20 sashes.
Interior of shop with ceiling beams exposed. Blocked fireplace. Upper floors not
inspected.
