Pair of attached houses. Early C19. Flemish bond brick.
Rendered to No.12. Parapeted slate roof. Double-depth plan.
3 storeys. 2-window front to King Street with
semicircular-arched doorway to No.12; inserted late C20 window
above. Ground floor: late C20 window in original opening to
No.12 and mid C19 shop front with pilasters to fascia and
blocked doorway on right to No.13. Two first-floor bowed
oriels with 8/12/8 sashes and dentilled cornices. Gauged brick
flat arches over horned late C19 sashes to upper floor.
Moulded cornice continued to right hand elevation facing Upway
Street, this having similar arches over mid-late C19 sashes
and semicircular arched doorway with plain fanlight.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
