House with adjoining cottage (on the right) in a row. Circa early-mid C19. Stuccoed
front. Asbestos slate roof with brick chimneys over the party walls.
Plan: Double-depth plan. House has probably 2 rooms at the front flanking a central
entrance hall leading to stair hall between rear service rooms. Cottage has probably
1 room at the front, a cross passage leading to stair on the right and a kitchen
behind the front room.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 4-window north-east front. House has nearly
symmetrical 3-window front with central doorway. Original 4-panel door with overlight
and distyle classical style (approximately Tuscan) porch with an arched fascia and
moulded cornice. Possibly original 4-pane hornless sashes (with some glazing bars
removed) to ground floor window openings. Original 12-pane hornless sashes to
narrower first floor openings.
