Farmhouse and adjoining former cottage. Probably C18, remodelled and extended circa mid C19. Roughly-coursed granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roofs. Dressed granite chimney over the gable ends of the house; brick chimney over the right-hand gable end of the cottage. External stack on the left of the house. Cast-iron ogee gutters.
PLAN: Double depth plan house with 2 rooms at the front with central entrance hall and shallow rear service rooms. Between the stair and the parlour is a projection to make room for a dresser in the service room behind, and there is a 2-room plan cottage (now 1-room) adjoining set back on the right.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Unaltered elevations. Nearly symmetrical 3 window south-east
house front with central doorway. Original openings. C20 door and glazed porch, late C19 or C20 6-pane horned sashes. Cottage has 2 window front with doorway (in former window opening) on the left.
INTERIOR: has circa mid-C19 carpentry and joinery. Left-hand room (parlour) has plaster ceiling, right-hand room has moulded ceiling beams. Large granite fireplace in right-hand end of former cottage.
