- north west of Chyenhal Farmhouse
GV II
Barn, probably granary over stables or shippons. Circa early C19 (dated 188- on
plaster under roof slates). Granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle
slate three-quarter hipped roof on barn.
Plan: Long rectangular plan range with 2 storey building on the left and integral
single-storey building on the right.
Exterior: 2 storeys and single storey. North-west front has symmetrical grouping of
openings on its left with doorway and loading/winnowing doorway over between 2 small
window openings on each floor. There is another doorway on the right of the 2-
storey part. Single-storey front on the right has 3 doorways. Left-hand doorway is
partly blocked and fitted with window. Otherwise all openings are original and
unaltered. Some old ledged doors.
