3 cottages forming a row. Early C19. Painted roughcast walls, under graduated
greenslate roof with wavy shaped eaves boarding over Wayside Cottage; yellow
brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays, except single-bay No. 2. C20 doors in
stucco porches under gabled roofs with shaped bargeboards and finials. Casement
windows with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds under hoodmoulds. Rear C20
extension to No.1 is not of interest.
