a 3-storey canted bay with 6:9:6 and 8:12:8-pane sashes, a
modillion top cornice, and plain skirts. To the left of the
bay a 9-pane above 12-pane sash, in plain reveals, and centred
to the original pair (Nos 35 & 36); the basement light, in the
plane of the main wall, is a replacement. To the left, on 5
stone steps carried on a quadrant arch, a C20 door with 3-pane
transom light. Plain bands at first and second floors, and the
former moulded cornice has been cut back to a plain band below
the blocking-course with coped parapet. 2 deep brick stacks to
the right have been raised to clear the higher adjoining

INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: across the full width of the front are

basement steps to the right.
This was built as one of a pair with No.35 but has been less
modified than its neighbour.
