House. Circa early C17 or earlier, gutted by fire in the 1960s and partly rebuilt in the 1970s - 1980s. Stone rubble. Slate roof with gable ends. Rebuilt projecting stone rubble end stack on left, front lateral hall stack with moulded granite cap and projecting stone rubble end stack on right with moulded granite cap.

Plan: House built along slope with ground rising to right. Original plan possibly three room and through passage arrangement with service room on left, hall/kitchen heated by front lateral stack and inner room to right heated by end stack. Stair projection to rear of higher side of hall giving access to chamber above inner room. It is possible that the hall was originally open to the roof with a two storey inner room and lower end. Circa C17 two storey porch to front of through passage. Circa C19 outshot added to rear of lower end and passage. Possibly on site of earlier wing which may have contained stair to room above lower end.

Exterior: two storeys. Asymmetrical five window front with ground rising to right. Two storey porch to left of centre with front lateral stack to right and hall bay adjoining largely rebuilt. Circa C19 porch to right. The two storey porch has a round-headed chamfered arch with ball and pyramidal stops and a C20 two-light casement on ground and first floor. C20 two-light casement in rebuilt hall bay projection with C19 gabled porch to right. Semi-circular stair projection to rear of higher end on rear left. Lean-to outshot to rear of lower end, passage and lower end of hall.

Interior: not accessible at time of survey (1986)
