Row of 4 estate cottages. Mid C19. Stone rubble walls. Gable ended slate roof. 2
brick axial stacks.
Plan: 4 probably 2 room plan cottages each with a heated room, sharing the 2 axial
stacks.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 6 window front with projecting gable towards each
end and 4 dormer windows on the first floor inbetween. 2-light C19 casements on
first floor, 3-light leaded pane ones below apart from a replaced casement to the
left. Small canopy hoods over the windows in gables. At centre were originally 2
recessed open fronted porches - the left-hand one has now been infilled with a C20
glazed door but the right-hand one remains open with a door in its right-hand wall.
The outer cottages have porches to the outside of the projecting gables, both have
part-glazed doors but the left-hand porch has been enlarged.
Interior: not inspected.
The cottages were built by the Clinton Estate.
