Small house in row, with shop. Late C18 or early C19.
Rendered, roof not visible. 2 storeys, 1 window; an
8:12:8-pane oriel bow with dentil cornice, with a small square
light inserted to the left. The late C19 shop front has
panelled pilasters to deep moulded consoles, and moulded
cornice above a canted fascia, and symmetrical display window
with part-glazed door under a transom light. There is an
unpainted brick dentil cornice below a deep blocking-course
with a coped parapet raised to a central curve, probably of
the early C20. INTERIOR not inspected.
Although described in RCHME with Nos 6 & 7 (qv), this building
appears to be a separate build from them.
