House in row with shop. Mid C18. Cream Flemish bond brickwork,
slate roof. 3 storeys, 3 windows, all sashes; 6-pane to second
floor, with wide splayed flush lintel and slight keystone, on
stone sills, above a central 12-pane the same, flanked by
canted oriels with 4-pane, panelled frieze and moulded
cornice, and moulded sills linked to a slightly higher sill
band. Ground floor has a full-width C20 shop front. The small
box eaves is crowned by a cast-iron ogee gutter. A stack to
the left, and the roof is hipped to the right only. The rear
wall is rendered, and there is a deep 2-storey hipped range in
red brick. A late but well-proportioned example of the C18
front. INTERIOR not inspected.
