Cottage, one of a pair. C18 or early C19, possibly on site of
earlier dwelling. Coursed rubble, thatch roof. A broad-fronted
house in 2 storeys and attic, symmetrical 3-window front; 2
small 2-light C19 casement dormers above 6+6-pane horizontal
sliding sashes to small wood sills and cement rendered lintels
and jambs. Good C19 flush 9-panel door with 3 small glass
lights. Rendered plinth, brick gable stacks. The return,
right, is rendered, with a small 2-light small-pane casement,
and on approx 0.45m stone plinth. Continuing in the same plane
a high boundary wall, from eaves level, runs approx 7m beside
the lane to Manor Barn (qv).
