Terrace of 3 houses in a row. Early C19. Rendered, slate roof.
2 storeys with attic, each 1 window; 4-pane sash dormers to
segmental tops, but that to No.6 has added late Victorian
gable with decorative barge and finial, above 2-storey bows
with tripartite sashes, with small modillion cornice carried
across full frontage. No.6 has sashes without horizontal bars
at first floor, and a later 3-pane shop front with transom
lights to the ground floor; No.7 has 4:12:4-pane sash over
plain sash, and No.8, with alternating rusticated quoins, has
8:12:8-paned sashes at each level. Arched doorways to the left
of each house; No.6 has a glazed door and plain fanlight
within a moulded architrave, No.7 a C20 door under radial
fanlight, and No.8 a C20 door to fanlight with coloured glass,
each on 2 stone steps. The wide-span mansard roof has 2 large
stacks below the ridge to each slope. At the back are several
small-pane casement dormers.
