C19 earlier terrace. Three storeys and semi-basements with later dormer to Nos 1, 3 and 4. Nos 1 and 2, double fronted with three windows each; Nos 3 and 4 two windows each. Slated roofs. Grit stone ashlar with cornices and blocking courses. Segmental bows with three-light bay windows flanking entrance bays and rising full height of building. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars. No 1, wooden Doric doorcase, round arched doorway with radial fanlight and panelled door; No 2, wooden prostyle Ionic portico with enriched frieze, architraved doorway with fanlight and panelled door; Nos 3 and 4, Ionic wooden doorcases with patterned fanlights and panelled doors. Entrances approached by steps with cast iron railings.
